The manual is prepared in accordance with the requirements of the SOLAS Chapter II-2 Regulation 14.Â
The purpose of this manual is to provide the necessary information for establishing and maintaining an effective Maintenance System for the Fire Fighting Equipment, Systems & Appliances available on board.Â
The Maintenance System for Fire Fighting Equipment, Systems & Appliances consists of three main areas/sections:Â
- Planned Maintenance Schedule.
- Maintenance Instructions.
- Maintenance Checklists & Overhauling Reports.
