Maintenance Plan for Fire Fighting Equipment, Systems & Appliances

The manual is prepared in accordance with the requirements of the SOLAS Chapter II-2 Regulation 14. 

The purpose of this manual is to provide the necessary information for establishing and maintaining an effective Maintenance System for the Fire Fighting Equipment, Systems & Appliances available on board. 

The Maintenance System for Fire Fighting Equipment, Systems & Appliances consists of three main areas/sections: 

• Planned Maintenance Schedule.
• Maintenance Instructions.
• Maintenance Checklists & Overhauling Reports.
