Maintenance Plan for Life Saving Appliances

This manual is prepared in accordance with the requirements of the SOLAS Chapter III, Regulation 20 and 36. 

The purpose of this manual is to provide the necessary information for establishing and maintaining an effective Maintenance System for the Life Saving Appliances available on board. 

The Maintenance System for Life Saving Appliances consists of the following areas/sections: 

• Planned Maintenance Schedule.
• Maintenance Instructions.
• Maintenance Checklists.
